"From Stellar I've deepened my understanding of identity, relationship, and personal and collective empowerment; how to see parts of myself with more clarity and resolve; and how to show up in authenticity and fierce love."
~ Elias Serras
What's another word for coaching?
I've been practicing the art of guiding people through experiences, revelations and growth since I was a teenager. Some people call it "facilitation," especially when it's a group. When it's one-on-one, lots of people call it "coaching." I don't know what to call it. What I do know is we all have a lot of healing to do ~ from trauma, from oppression, from the innumerable ways we humans harm and are harmed by ourselves, each other and the world. And I've learned a lot on my own healing journey that it gives me life to share with others who are also on theirs.
Below you'll find more specifics on what I offer. My rates are sliding scale, $150-$30/hr. I live off the generosity of those who have the means to support the work I do, and in turn offer my support to anyone committed to the deep, hard, beautiful work of unlearning, healing and growth. Post-capitalist Financial Coaching
A world where everyone has enough, communities take care of each other, and no billionaires exist is not only possible, but closer than it's ever been. For we who are committed to shifting the global economy out of unregulated late-stage capitalism, it can be tough to find financial management strategies and guidance that's also in alignment with our values. After years of struggling financially and feeling terrible about money, I got myself out of debt and into a healthy relationship with my finances through some coaching of my own, a couple of frame shifts, some fantastic budgeting software, and a nice dash of courage and determination. In my financial coaching practice, I help you get a grip on your finances, guide you through the basics of budgeting & personal money management, and support you in shifting and healing your relationship with money, getting you started on the path of achieving not material success, but financial liberation.

Sometimes our lives could just use a really good project manager! While I've organized everything from closets and offices to multiple terrabtyes and hundreds of thousands of digital audio files (hello, linguistic research projects!), nowadays my favorite is helping others organize & manage their lives. Whether you're looking to make a big change and aren't sure how to make it happen, wondering how to turn your crazy/big project idea into reality, or feeling stuck trying to handle a (set of complicated) situation(s) that you swear "normal" people must know how to handle (psst: they actually don't), I help you manage it. We'll break down the big, overwhelming picture into manageable chunks, hold you accountable in the step-by-step process of making the shift happen, and navigate our way through the big emotions that come up along the way.

Healing Oppression In Relationships
My partner Danny and I offer solo and paired relationship coaching based in a model of understanding and healing oppression. Systemic oppression and supremacy culture exist not only out in the world, but also right at the heart of our intimate relationships. Many of us were born into a culture designed to uphold white-centered patriarchy, the roots of which run deep inside our bodies & ways of relating. As much as we devote ourselves to healing and self-growth, patterns of supremacy thinking play themselves out in our closest relationships if we aren't informed by both trauma awareness and systemic analysis. In our workshops and our coaching, Danny and I support you in moving towards collective liberation in your intimate relationships, sharing our experiences and tools for navigating both the subtle and not-so-subtle ways we are taught to uphold systems of oppression with the people we love the most.

What comes to us is not ours to keep, but fuel for creating a more just and sustainable world. I donate 15-25% of my coaching income to families of Black and Brown people killed by police and organizations empowering, organizing & tending to marginalized people, particularly Black, trans, indigenous and incarcerated Americans.
